Located only a kilometre (5 minutes drive) from the Gold Coast Airport, Kirra is an ever expanding beachside village. The streets are lined with trendy cafes, restaurants and stylish boutique stores.

The beachfront is fringed with grassy parkland and picnic spots, perfect for family BBQ’s and a walking and cycle track that stretches from Kirra Surf Life Saving Club to Bilinga. There are surf clubs at North Kirra and Kirra Beach, both of which offer regular beach patrols, beachfront decks and spectacular ocean views.

Overlooking Kirra Point is the historic site, Kirra Hill Lookout, spanning views north to Surfers Paradise and south to Snapper Rocks. Regarded as one of the best views on the entire Gold Coast, this iconic point is a perfect spot for a picnic or BBQ. Shelter and tables are available, so you and yours can sit back and relax, taking in the breathtaking views. Take a sunset stroll to this lookout and watch as the lights of Coolangatta come to life.

If you take a 15 minute walk south, around the point, you find yourself straight into the heart of Coolangatta. From here, you can continue around Greenmount Hill and into Rainbow Bay, Snapper Rocks and Point Danger to capture spectacular views of the beautiful Southern Gold Coast.
